So this is what I have planned for the entertainment system in the condo. I call it an entertainment system because it can’t be classified as an entertainment center as that implies a single point where you can enjoy your media. What I am creating will be a networked group of entertainment centers, that will allow me to enjoy my media anywhere anytime.

Here are some of the highlights of this project:

I will have access to all of my media, on all of my devices, anytime I want it.

I will be able to control my media in any way I’d like to, either using my phone, a tablet, remote, xbox 360 controller, keyboard and mouse, etc.

I will be able to get new media easily and quickly, and have access to it on all of my devices instantly.

And best of all, most of the software and hardware I will be using, I already own, or is free to use. At this point in time I only have about $150 - $200 left of forward expenses to complete this system.

This is what you call a dream setup, and I’m making my dream come true!
